Visual Energy Reporting

A school-wide energy consumption reporting system which displays the most up to date energy consumption data that the school holds for each building on the pre-existing plasma info screens around campus. This project would build on the existing TEAM system, adding a package that will give the capability to convert the data into digital signage. Possible formats to display information include an annotated heat map of the campus and dashboard dials for each building on screen. There is scope for the display of a variety of measurements including raw gas and electricity usage, monetary costs or inferred carbon intensity per square metre of building space.They will engage with LSE Audio Visual and LSE Estates (Carbon Reduction Team). The second part of the project would be to produce a short report assessing the impact of the system with recommendations for improvements and further development.
